sharing a subfolder only not inbox - Microsoft Community


hi,

outlook office 365 mail, how share subfolder under inbox.

i want colleague visible contents of subfolder , not inbox e-mails.

hi,

in sharing folders , contacts in outlook, can change permission settings can control can edit or view folder or contacts. works exchange account. regarding concern, need grant "folder visible" permissions on inbox folder share sub-folder. allows other user traverse folder root of mailbox. set permission, kindly perform following steps:

  1. right click on inbox folder , choose properties.
  2. go permissions tab.
  3. add person needs able access sub folder.
  4. verify person selected after adding it.
  5. set permission level none.
  6. select “folder visible” permission.

note: granting “folder visible” access not allow other user see of parent folder content.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community
