where fix microsoft?  just found this.  so no current fix?  why did send out update without testing it!!??  wow

this issue affects outlook versions on windows 7, windows 8, windows 10.

when searching in outlook, error: “something went wrong , search couldn’t completed.”

status

we're investigating issue , update page when fix available.

and before post thix "fix" did not work!

after updating builds 7870.2020 , 7870.2024, search stops working pst files , pop accounts in outlook 2016

fixed

a fix has been released issue in build 7870.2031. install fix, go to file > office account > update options > update now.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
