Outlook 2016 automatically converts xlsx-files as zip-files - Microsoft Community


xlsx-files arrives zip-files in outlook 2016. cannot unzipped, , unable rename them xlsx-format. have no add-ons or weird zipping settings installed. attachments normal in other email programs.

to better understand concern, please provide answer following questions:

  • how big if excel file getting on email?
  • do have zip software uncompress file?

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
