Outlook iPhone App not sending email - Microsoft Community


for past couple of weeks (late december 2016) have been unable send emails using outlook app installed on iphone 5s running ios 10.2.  i receive emails , syncs.  i can create email when send disappears.  not in outbox; not sent.   office 365 business account online exchange.  there no other know issues.  

have tried: 

  • resetting account within outlook app.  when there "mail sent" message when there no mail sent
  • deleting account , starting over
  • deleting app, restarting iphone, , reinstalling app

tested outlook app on ipad2 same result.  thank you input.

update:  added outlook.com email app , account sends , receives mail in app without problem.

i having same problem , have tried same fixes well. have not found fix yet

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
