Changing my outlook account from Exchange to IMAP - Microsoft Community


hi

i have @ moment got outlook set 365 exchange system. domains mx record pointing exchange. can use 1 email address set way. able configure 5 independent email addresses on c-panel , have them operating imaps collegues can have there own email accounts.

however if going lose emails have on exchange account, if there way prevent this.

also lose functionality switching imap

exchange or imap/pop method of how client communicate remote server. if using office 365 exchange online mail services, people need use mail function need valid license mailbox no matter using imap or exchange.

 

if using other services such outlook.com or hotmail, can add account in outlook client. 1 outlook client can have multiple email accounts working @ same time.

 

but noticed employees have same domain , seems using office 365 exchange online email services in organization, think need give them licenses unitized, safe , high efficiency experience.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
