Outlook desktop - Microsoft Community


at work, use outlook email.  i decided set on phone, , today on laptop.  i've heard there features gmail doesn't have, , want investigate further.

the question is, start, have cleared gmail inbox of emails older year.  i know google provides plenty of space email, don't pointless clutter.

as i've set outlook, has synchronized inbox gmail, , there on 22000 emails.  has dredged entire email history, trash , every other place, , dragged new inbox?  why?

also, setting outlook took step or 2 because google doesn't it, saying not secure.  i read few older articles wonder if new outlook better.  is google being possessive , monopolistic, trying scare people using services?  i have set 2-factor authentication.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
