Email attachements change file name to original mail subject - Microsoft Community

hi

the case is:

1. have mail, save to fileshare, naming "navision"

2. send new message and want attach mail step 1 using email saved on fileshare , using insert - attach file

3. after email attached, filename change original mail subject.

the email in step 1 mail coming mfp , subject of mail misleading regarding content af e-mail. 

since mail contains contract etc. i save the email, giving more matching name.

then excat same using owa, file name not changed

is behavior design , why?

using outlook 2016, , exchange 2016

help understand more answering these questions:

• does same thing happen when attaching different file?
• is filename of attachment different should when open message in sent items folder?

this may happening because outlook secure folder on computer not have enough free space. navigate c:\users\user profile\appdata\local\microsoft\windows\temporary internet files\content.outlook on hard drive , clear contents of last folder.

note: must show hidden files, folders, , drivers able access outlook secure folder.

let know how goes.
