Outlook 2016/Office 365 - IMAP folders sychronisation - Microsoft Community


hi all

i have office 365, using office 2016 , have windows10.  until yesterday outlook account working , no known reason, struggling.

when launch outlook, usual send/receive starts syncrhonise folders , when gets subscribed folders on icloud account, takes literally hours , freezes.  preventing me receiving e-mails , closing outlook , re-opening check if have mails.

i have gone imap folder settings , unsubscribed unnecessary , have deleted hundreds of e-mails see if causing issue.....all no avail.

i have searched fixes on site , appears several other users had issue several years ago , recommended doing have done i'm stuck.

an update windows 10 installed 2 days ago - kb3211320.  has else noticed issues since update installed?

can please help.....it's driving me mad!

  • are getting error messages?
  • have been experiencing issue before update?
  • did make changes outlook settings prior issue?

we suggest run troubleshooter windows apps clicking here.
