Connected Gmail Accounts won't work on Office365 - Microsoft Community


i created connected account gmail account via pop. imap doesn't seem work @ all. after 3 days stopped working suggesting no longer connected. no passwords or usernames had changed. after waiting 3 days reconnected removed connected account , tried add again. won't allow me add account suggesting username , or password wrong. having checked correct don't know how proceed - common issue? please don't forward links i've seen , followed dozens of them.

please log google account > account > sign-in & security > connected apps & sites > allow less secure apps : on.

then turn off 2-step verification:

google account > account > sign-in & security >signing in google > 2-step verification > off

then, connect gmail account outlook via imap method:

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
