Inserting hyperlink into mail causes Outlook to crash and restart - Microsoft Community


configuration office 365 proplus on win 10

when try insert hyperlink in body of email, insert hyperlink screen launches outlook crashes , restarts. outlook throws errors each mailbox 

i have restart pc outlook recognize correct .ost files.

i uninstalled office , reinstalled office , still same behavior.

any ideas on how correct issue?

from screenshot, noticed ran office 2013 in computer. experience, if there 2 versions office suite installed in computer, unexpected behavior appear conflict.

and understand if suggest uninstall office 2013, might not convenient you. further troubleshoot issue, please try following troubleshooting methods:

1. pease update outlook mac latest version: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/install-office-updates-2ab296f3-7f03-43a2-8e50-46de917611c5 .

2. repair outlook client by online repair.  please refer repair office control panel part of article: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/repair-an-office-application-7821d4b6-7c1d-4205-aa0e-a6b40c5bb88b .

3. repair pst files of account referring article: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/repair-outlook-data-files-pst-and-ost-25663bc3-11ec-4412-86c4-60458afc5253.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
