Outlook has an error and must shut down - Microsoft Community


i'm running windows 8 on hp laptop. installed updates , every time open outlook, after opens says, outlook has error , must shut down. button choices 'fix now', 'help' or 'cancel' if hit either 'fix now' or 'help' closes outlook. causing , how fix it?

i can see outlook email on phone , ipad, need able see on laptop full functionality. please help.

thank information. understand using imap configuration in outlook client.

regarding "for reason, it's saying it's unlicensed version? have running subscription.", can check office 365 account license subscription status following steps in article.

in addition palcouk's suggestion, please follow article quick repair , check if issue still persist after doing quick repair.

note: please backup outlook data, before running quick repair on office prevent data loss.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community
