Stop conversations going to the top - Microsoft Community


hello.

at work use outlook 2010.

i generate , receive lot of email traffic using conversation view perfect keeping differing subject matter controlled.

my issue around conversations moving top of inbox based on email received.

for example have piece of work started month ago, , leaving @ bottom of inbox until can make time it. few days ago mailed on subject moved top of inbox. lots of emails means conversation's keep moving top, if work top down there emails tht sit in middle , miss them.

if turn inbox upside down same issue.

what want have them come in , add first response main position in inbox, possible?

or there better way keep on top of high volumes of emails

any advice appreciated.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
