AppHangXProcB1 in POWERPOINT Office 365 (2016) - Microsoft Community


this hang occurs when in powerpoint , 1 tries launch slideshow.  also affected mouse starts slow , jerky movement.

i tried repairing office had little affect - program operate once in manner expected , point on hang , need cancelled.

i disabled com addins , ensured graphics accelerators not disabled.

i recovered 4 crash records.

i noticed office version 16.0.7870.2024 behind many updates. please try updating office 2016 latest version i.e. version 1703 (build 7967.2161), see if fixes issue. you can check article office version information.

to know how update office 2016, follow steps below:

  1. open office 2016 application, such word 2016 or excel 2016, , create new document.
  2. choose file in top left corner, , choose account from list on left.
  3. under product information, choose update options>update now.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community
