Syncing outlook.com with Android. - Microsoft Community

i have office 365 home , outlook.com (the new version). android 6.0.1 on phone (nexus)

i have set outlook account on phone (it gives choice of outlook or exchange both seem set same thing).

i have downloaded outlook app , works fine. can see mail, calendar, , contacts. working.

however calendar app is, (how can politely), rubbish.

i read elsewhere if sync outlook account phone should able access outlook calendar stock calendar , contacts apps. in fact contacts show in right places. calendar doesn't show anywhere except (rubbish) outlook app.

if settings -> accounts -> outlook -> account (last synced now) -> i screen only lists contacts. have feeling should have calendar option sync it, doesn't.

i hope clear. understand going on?
