Archiving an Archive file while maintaining folder structure: - Microsoft Community


i have 2 large email archives (11gb , 8gb) organisation advises against.  have told me keep .pst files under 4gb.

i want split archive files individual .pst files date 2012, 2013 etc want maintain folder structure have built helpful when searching.

using (auto) archive feature inbox .pst archive easy in outlook , maintains folder structure in archive want carry out same activity on archive .pst split them , can't see way this.

my plan year - archive items older 2012 1 file.  items older 2013 next , on building archive folders calendar years worth of email , items.

anyone got smart solution on how this?

if have archive pst data file select archive, archive archive using criteria require another/new archive data file - archive year, naming them  per year.
if archive data file not open/visible in folder tree view pane, within ms outlook, file>open & export>open outlook data file


Office / Outlook / Other/unknown / Office 365 for business

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community
