outlook 2011 error message - Microsoft Community


hi all, im hoping can me mild irritation. whenever outlook connects email servers message comes each account saying  " appending spam folder forbidden (0.000 +0.000 secs)

although doesn't  appear cause  problems, flagging quite irritating. has have ideas?

it happens on my imac . in advance

firstly confirm following information better understand situation on side:
1. outlook mac client version. can click outlook->about outlook on top tool bar check this.
2. screenshot of error message.
3. kind of email account did use in outlook 2011 mac, office 365 business account or non-office 365 account gmail account?
4. said in error message, spam folder forbidden. i’d know whether spam folder default folder in mailbox or custom folder created yourself.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
