Problem with Outlook 2016 in the Outbox - Microsoft Community


i have problem outlook 2016 when send email out stays in outbox ever , of time have close outlook 2016 , reopen , works fine. have friend , has same problem , told internet causes problem. has 1 company , have same problem think might bug in outlook 2016.

friend may right that's not case though. internet connection factor there other factors consider. anti-virus software can block outlook sending out email. email domain being down @ times may factor. in case remains uncertain,. suggest rechecking incoming , outgoing mail servers , ensure outlook connected..  normally shown @ system tray, should connected if hover ur mouse on outlook icon.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
