Spelling Check not working in Outlook - Microsoft Community
Office / Outlook / Mac / Office 2016 for Mac
as can see in screenshots below, spelling turned on, auto correct turned on, , when manually select check spelling says has spelled checked doc, missing "corrceted"...
i've checked/unchecked spelling , auto correct, restarted between each change, both quitting app , restarting mac.
still won't spellcheck.
i've tried changing no messages open. quitting, restarting, etc etc.
still won't spellcheck.
any ideas?

you'll never guess answer is...
outlook not spell check signature!
i have default sig set includes text "dear customer, email. quick acknowledgment of order. in touch possible."
i type in name , hit send. usually.
if need write more carry on below sig area - outlook sees sig , won't sell check it.
if write above default sig area, spell check!!!!
