on january 9th, office365 exchange email account started prompting me re-login microsoft. put in credentials , given error says "sorry, we're having server problems, can't add office 365 sharepoint right now. please try again later."
i followed instructions on post delete exchange, adal , office items keychain access: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_outlook-mso_mac/sorry-were-having-server-problems-so-we-cant-add/08c25e0f-70c8-4055-adc7-a3cd0a2a5da8
however, after doing so, issue not persists has gotten worse. window login prompt still comes up, login screen never loads.

check if following steps help:
1. make sure have quitted outlook , other office apps. go keychain access
2. search "exchange" under login --> items , delete
3. search "office" , delete
4. search "adal" , delete everything
5. launch outlook
6. activation prompt. if account added, see password prompt app , adal again. please 2-factor authentication if asked. , should able login.
if not work, please delete account , re-add it. before delete it, please files first avoid unexpected data loss.
turn off antivirus software , disable proxy settings check if there improvement.
