cannot see inbox rules - Microsoft Community

i've got same problem - using pop3. spotted today when added duplicate rule , went delete it. not sure how long it's been there.
2. did install other add-ins or application after updating outlook client?
no.
3. do see error message when open “manage rules , alerts” dialogue window? if so, provide screenshot of us.
no error message - blank window above.
4. if click “create rule…” button (in home > move > rules) create new rule, rule work?
it believe yes.
i image pc in case of problems - roll earlier image @ point see if software update or problem profile and/or pst.

i rolled pc short while after posting above (i use macrium reflect) took office to version 1702 build 7870.2031
i checked rules and they visible. turned off office updates see if cause.
however, when i've checked now, rules window empty again... suggests it's windows 10 update causing problem - or other component.
i roll-back again , check more now i have bit more time.
