conditional formatting based on a second category - Microsoft Community

my situation:

i use colour categories ordering mail. among others 'waiting reply' category.

for example first put 'work' label on mail, , afterwards 'waiting reply'. mail has 2 colour categories visible.

what want:

i want emails in category, 'waiting reply', coloured grey using conditional formatting.

the problem:

all mails 'waiting reply' grey 

all mails 'waiting reply' added first category grey 

the mails in 'work' first, , 'waiting reply' added later, not grey 

in short, primary category being checked when using conditional formatting. no longer works when using multiple categories on 1 e-mail. there way around this? 

i use office 2010 on windows 10.
