Microsoft Outlook won't load - Microsoft Community


i trying set outlook 2016 desktop app on computer (as understand it, installs outlook onto laptop, right?). need in order directly email photo sessions clients photo software (my software can email directly installed outlook account). 

after installing app onto computer gives me message saying "cannot start microsoft outlook. cannot open outlook window...your email not outlook data file".  the email tried set actual outlook.com email. please advise me on how fix , why happening.

 i suspect related ms office outlook , not outlook.com (browser based) posted this.  if correct please either repost in ms office category version have using category tab @ top of page, or move thread there.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
