i using office 2007 until last december, when decided go office 365 family version, or office 2016 seems known. (office 2007 still installed on pc).
i displeased office 365, slow on opening excel , appearance seems dumbed down, continued using 2007, far better. however, when select office file open, default program office 2016 version, not 2007 version. i decided uninstall office 365. after doing this, have big problem outlook 2007. it won't allow me create, send or receive mail (error = "not implemented"). if select file , right click e-mail it, following error message: "there no email program associated perform requested action .......". i checked default programs, seem fine.
i using gmail accounts profiles set in outlook. i cannot edit profiles no response clicking buttons.
aaaaargh, having log in gmail on line , use mail accounts there, prefer outlook 2007.
can help. i thought of re-installing office 365, microsoft account says it's installed!
use office 2016 uninstall utility, re-boot pc , reinstall office 2007 (you may have create new outlook profile)
and aware office 2007 falls out of support in oct17
you have log on ms account manage installs, or reinstall
