Display Name & User Name Different - Microsoft Community


hello, email address *** email address removed privacy *** when set additional email account @ work (outlook 2013) displays "*** email address removed privacy ***". why different?

friends unable reply messages sent personal account @ work, have send new email *** email address removed privacy ***.

i have installed many times no difference. did wrong?

for better assistance, tell when did issue start? have made changes prior issue?

 

this issue occurs users multiple account aliases. actively working on fix. now, suggest follow below workaround.

  1. go https://account.live.com/names/manage , sign in outlook.com account.
  2. set outlook.com email primary alias.
  3. remove old non-microsoft account listed primary alias not using.
  4. in outlook windows, remove , re-add account. see steps in article: add outlook.com account in outlook windows.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
