junk email - Microsoft Community


i have outlook 2016 account on mac. junk email preferences grayed , have no way select level of filtering.

outlook doesn’t perform sort of junk mail filtering anymore.
it’s done server side , accounts/account types not offer
that can’t setup outlook.
it’s sad, that’s decision made.
in addition, because of aggressive sandboxing implementation in
outlook, third party spam filtering integration no longer possible
either.
in cases that, have mail running in background spamsieve
to efficiently filter emails me in background.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
