Microsoft Outlook clashes with Microsoft Office - Microsoft Community


hi,

got new windows 10 pc microsoft office 2016 home , student installed. pc offers install of microsoft outlook 2016. outlook installation cannot completed on pc because microsoft office prevents activation.

do not understand how 1 microsoft product  (office) prevents installation of microsoft product (outlook).

can please shed light on this. sounds awkward me.

thank you 

you cannot install/activate outlook unless have purchased or version of office includes outlook, , if purchased version of office included outlook, activate office suite, not individual components.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
