Outlook closing when power disconnected from laptop - Microsoft Community


w10 outlook 2013 , hp elite x2 tablet/laptop.

i have wifi dock connected 2 other monitors.  when connected wireless dock, , disconnect power cord laptop, outlook closes.  close , not crash because there never error messages , not see obvious in event logs.

any thoughts?

hi,

in cases, disabling power cord in laptop, of apps should not close outlook. let's isolate issue figure out what's causing problem providing following information:

  • does happens other app if remove power cord?
  • when issue start?
  • is windows , office updated?
  • what troubleshooting steps have tried?

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
