how set mail work new domain , how differentiate between mail default domain , new 1 have added.

from description, know have 3 domains in office 365 business premium tenant. let’s call them @example.onmicrosoft.com, @example.co.uk, @examplea.co.uk. if misunderstand situation, please feel free correct me.
now here 2 scenarios:
1. if want use @example.co.uk primary email address , @examplea.co.uk alias, need 1 license account. add alias existing user, please refer article: add additional email aliases user. after that, primary email address *** email address removed privacy *** , alias *** email address removed privacy *** , *** email address removed privacy ***. can use *** email address removed privacy *** sign in office 365 , receive emails sent these email addresses.
2. if have 2 users primary email addresses *** email address removed privacy *** , *** email address removed privacy ***, each user requires license. these users 2 different users. when sign *** email address removed privacy ***, not receive emails sent *** email address removed privacy ***.
