Office Mac 15.32 (17030901) Update Outlook CPU issue - Microsoft Community

i having same issue latest version of outlook mac, 15.32, 170309.  outlook spike 100% cpu 45-60 seconds (fairly unresponsive when happening), , fall 1% (behaves normally).

i can grab information requested above , send if provide private message collect it.

since different issues may have different causes, let’s focus issue.

 

as berry mentioned in previous thread, please close other applications , open outlook mac application see if problem still occurs, , provide information below:

  1. does outlook mac client hangs or crashes?
  2. the detailed version of mac os.
  3. the sample log. here steps:
    1. make sure reproduce issue in outlook   
    2. open activity monitor (finder > applications > utilities > activity monitor).
    3. click cpu tab.   
    4. double-click microsoft outlook.
    5. click sample process.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
