Outlook 2013 VSTO Add in Deployment - Microsoft Community


hi there,

i have developed outlook add-in in visual studio 2015. application working fine in machine.

when have tried deploy machine using windows installer (installshield wizard) setup file working fine in machines , in machines showing following error.

 system.invalidcastexception : specified cast not valid.

at

microsoft.visualstudio.tools.applications.deployment.clickonceaddindeploymentmanager.getmanifests(timespan timeout)

at

microsoft.visualstudio.tools.applications.deployment.clickonceaddindeploymentmanager.installaddin().

could 1 me on fix issue.

i have used microsoft .net framework 4.5 , vsto tools visual studio 2010 develop application. 

i able install correctly in machines , in machines not installing throwing error.

i waiting email verification code *** email address removed privacy *** after signing visual studios account. have run message trace see why email not being delivered , given following message: led=550 4.3.2 queue.transportagent; message deleted transport agent i have looked error , saying message being stuck in queue, resolve unfreeze queue. however, in order need exchange toolbox or exchange management, no longer exists office 365 since eac came about. yet haven't found queue viewers in eac can manage , unfreeze queue.   my spam filter set @ 'bypass spam filters'. have whitelisted domain, , have set connection filter allows ip address domain come through. however, after running message trace, email still being dropped. any insight on why happening?  thanks hi suean-work, according description, have try many settings on side. confirm again ‘bypass spam filters’ settings. did mean have c...
