outlook not synhronising yahoo imap mail after password change - Microsoft Community


i use outlook yahoo imap mail server. changed yahoo password , outlook not accepting new password , fail synchronising mail

i tried change paswwoed several times not work

if have changed password on yahoo, may need enable low secure apps access well. 

to allow low secure apps, follow these steps:

1. click on account info after hovering mouse on name. 

2. click on account security in left pane. 

3. enable "allow apps use less secure sign in."

this fix issue sign in on outlook app. 

make sure not using two-step verification on yahoo. 

and in case, if you're using two-step verification on yahoo. you'll have generate app password, copy , paste in password field on outlook. 

if still face issue, feel free reply on answer.
