Outlook for Mac 2016 Shared Mailbox Private Event - Microsoft Community

i alerted issue today 1 of our users has full access shared mailbox. when entering appointment on shared mailbox calendar, if event marked private , saved, event becomes private event. problem seeing in outlook mac event private event , can't viewed or edited, though should have full access rights mailbox set exchange admin console.

i can see event , edit if @ event on office 2016 windows or outlook on web, not in outlook 2016 mac. normal behavior, or bug? haven't worked or used private events before, new territory me.

based on tests both did, issue seems shared mailbox calendar isnt synced exchange server. suggest remove shared calendar view in mac, , re-add again see if synced successfully. dont delete primary calendar in shared mailbox actually. please make sure when add changes in shared mailbox, should make shared mailbox selected grey background.

 

steps: right click shared mailbox calendar ,  choose remove view. restart outlook client , click open shared calendar , type right name of calendar add outlook again.

and based on description trying on mac else has full access permission shared mailbox, , seem getting similar results, mean people have full access calendar cannot make changes in shared calendar on outlook mac?
