Outlook & Windows Live Mail - Microsoft Community


hi, i'm hoping out there can me...

i've purchased new laptop , phone. have 2 business emails use in outlook , trying both set on phone , laptop. 1 has worked no trouble on both devices. other on other hand ...

i tried first set on phone via outlook app. directed me sign windows live mail account - i've never had before - , when select manual configuration automatically redirects me signing windows live.

i tried put laptop - it's asking me allow windows live access , asking me password have put in 3 times before goes away - tells me can't establish encrypted or unencrypted connection , when manually configure account - add outlook can't access without going through windows live. problem is, wont accept password - everytime enter details (which know correct) pops straight up. email still working no problems on previous laptop.

really hoping out there knows how fix i'm losing mind!

a hopeful in advance.

can tell little bit 2 business accounts?  kind they, pop, imap, hotmail/live mail/outlook.com, exchange server, else, , providers them?

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
