PowerPoint for Mac failing to set patterned fill - Microsoft Community


i have following vba-code setting patterned fill (to test it, create new presentation, add 1 rectangle , have selected):

sub macro1()
    activewindow.selection.shaperange.fill.patterned 54
end sub

i can run macro in powerpoint 2016 on windows. however, when use powerpoint mac (version 15.25 according "about powerpoint" window) , try run macro, following error:

run-time error '-2147024809 (80070057)': specified value out of range.

setting pattern 53 on mac works. why there inconsistency between powerpoint on windows , on mac?

as sidenote: when create presentation pattern 54 on windows, apparently can load on mac.

>> maybe there list (possibly curated microsoft) describing such differences between mac , windows?

some of kill this.  ... might kick hard in shins, @ least.  don't know of such thing, , if there such list, it'd go out of date quickly, new rapid pace of updates.

Outlook Rules not Running Automatically - Microsoft Community

i have 3 rules in outlook 2013 installation set when email arrives check words in body, subject or header.  the rules not seem run automatically.  when run rules manually seem work fine.  i've had problem quite while.  recently, created new outlook profile did not fix issue.  i went , changed srs file srs.old did not fix either. please provide me suggestions fix. hi neil, in order isolate issue, we'd following information: have made recent changes or applied update device prior issue? which email account using? personal email account or work email account? for initial troubleshooting, suggest deleting rules , create again. this, may refer article below: manage email messages using rules looking forward response.
