hello. have gmail account use work. have outlook 2010 on desktop, , 365 on laptop.
when read messages on phone/web browser/outlook 2010, mark messages read, 365 on laptop not. why 365 not recognizing these messages read? how fix this?

there may sync issue between outlook mac client , server. please try following steps:
1. right click inbox in client> click "synchronize now" , right click inbox in client> click "properties"> "empty cache".
2. if client in "conversation view", selected conversations/emails in folder command-a> right click , select "mark unread"> reverse> selected conversations/emails in folder again command-a> right click , select "mark read".
3. change arrange "arrange date".
4. mark messages unread first, mark read.
additionally, since outlook 2010 has been out of our support timeline, can please update outlook mac new version?
at same time, notice title "gmail" while account office 365. i'd re-confirm whether miss anything. if yes, please feel free let me know.
