when opened microsoft outlook morning, emails tagged 'follow up', no longer highlighted in yellow. this took me while figure out. when outlook 2016 running shows 'disconnected.' after spending several hours working different things , reading forum posts, looked nothing matched problem. this began 2 weeks ago, , i've been using web browser send , receive outlook.com email. evening gentlemen, a user running windows 7 outlook 2010.  when opens email attachment double clicking on attachment within email message, opens corresponding program.  (pdf's open in acrobat, word docs open in word, etc). the problem when user tries "save as" within corresponding program no dialog boxes appear.  as workaround user can save attachment onto desktop , "save as" works @ point.  however, adds infamous "extra step" bane of every person. so far i've tried: 1. recreating outlooksecuretempfolder 2. recreating users outlook profile 3. running fixes on office , acrobat has seen similar or have suggestions? hi scott, it appears have did troubleshooting steps possibly resolve issue. may know outcome of these steps? for initial troubleshooting, suggest perform steps provided on following links: open office apps on safe mode repair office app

can see videos in normal view, screen goes black when switch slideshow.  i can hear audio, screen black. checked conflicts in info section of power point, , there none.   see 2 updates available, when try install message no products updates installed on system.  those 2 updates not listed in update history.  video drivers date.  windows 7 64 bit, 8 gigs of ram lawrence, i got problem fixed, quite accident.  in power point options/advanced/display, checked disable slideshow hardware graphics acceleration.  quite interesting since there disable graphics hardware acceleration.  evidently slideshow must use different 'program' other parts of power point.   instantly see videos when switched slideshow.  i suspect problem related graphics card, hp modified when built computer.  i because have 2 other window 7, office 2013 computers not have box checked , work fine.   so recommend problem try , see if helps.  j wood
