on laptop contacts contain multiple entries same person. hello: i self-employed , run consulting business out of home office. person in business, no employees. have own domain includes email. right now, email hosted @ web host provider , connect via imap in outlook on pc. connect outlook.com email address in outlook. (the outlook.com email address use log windows , access microsoft account). primary email account 1 attached domain.  1. receive emails on both accounts fine. however, though in outlook, have set domain email primary account, whenever reply email, outlook replies outlook.com email , have switch manually before clicking send. inconvenient.  2. calendar, use outlook.com account. because events instantly appear in outlook, online , on iphone , ipad. no syncing required. issue here meeting invites. when come default email (my domain email) , reply, appointments these end on wrong calendar. domain account keeps offline calendar folder (this computer only) stores these accepted appointments. hav

i'm having issue when sign office 365 , click on app calendar or outlook asks sign in again. this annoying else experiencing this? what possible fixes? i using ie, have cleared cache no avail, , have re-opening browser. hi rubert23421, based on experience, suggest try the inprivate browsing mode in ie see if issue can fixed. if not, i’d collect following information further troubleshooting: 1. when did notice issue? did occur suddenly? 2. see if it’s browser issue, mind trying different browser see if issue can reproduced in it? 3. issue occur other office 365 users in organization? if not, please log office 365 account on his/her desktop can see if it’s related specific pc? 4. may confirm happen after resigning outlook web app/portal? navigate between different apps outlook , calendar without problem? 5. there error messages when automatically signs out? if so, please take relevant screenshots

we have application(java based web application) works document repository. stores ms office documents too. application has deep links allows opening document stored in repository. deep link takes document id parameter. while writing http response, application uses "filename" directive of "content-disposition" header pass filename against file should opened/saved. works fine when link triggered using browser. but, when link embedded inside ms office document , if targeted document ms office document, feature doesn't work. seems ms office ignores 'filename' directive. if so, there other ways can pass suggested filename?  we tried updating application handle requests coming ms office , forcing ms office open links through browser. but, approach caused issues dependent applications. so, that's not alternative.  Office / Unknown/other

i have email account university of south africa can access. last week tried access unisa email , ended on office 365 page and asked confirm user name , password after doing it  i told both not recognized then wanted me complete form so see rescue email account the form had questions not answer and @ end locked me out of account does know if new unisa thing or what? or email after contacting unisa they said fine after contacting  microsoft support i told problem was that need included in office 365 realm before emails????? confused??? yes,, totally any ideas the email service provided university. technically requirements of accessing account should handled university. what can - 1. find out if other university mates face same problem 2. contact correct university support department check on account verify correctly setup. open new email used able double click open space in inbox , new email open.  when double click in open space looks new email, except shows "post" instead of "send" , none of address fields, (to:, from: bcc:) not show.  if click post posts contents in body of document inbox.  change happened , i  must have changed accident.  want go old way... please advise. set outlook 2016 icon in taskbar indicate new unread emails in inbox hi joe, a desktop alert notification appears on desktop when receive new email message, meeting request, or task request. default, desktop alerts turned on. the information displayed in desktop alert varies depending on item receive in your   inbox . to turn on or turn off alerts on desktop, please follow steps below: on the  file  tab, choose  options  >  mail . under  message arrival , select or clear the  display desktop alert  check box. note : suppress other notifications such playing sounds, changing mouse pointer, or displaying envelope icon in taskbar, clear respective check boxes functions.      3. change transparency of desktop alerts or how long they're visible, choose  desktop alert settings . tip:   if want keep desktop alert visible can take more time read it, rest pointer on alert before fades view.

hi, i have 2 office365 business accounts, different domains on same tenant. both couple of months ago got focused inbox. time filtering worked great. then, of sudden, stopped on 1 of accounts.  on 1 of accounts now, focused inbox shows on owa , android app, but, mail not automatically filtered in unless i've moved , checked "always move sender option." behaves if disabled heuristics or something. i've been moving mail "other" box manually weeks hoping trained again or something, there has been no change in behavior. for other account--again same tenant--it works great, always. what i've tried: i've disconnected "apps" (i.e., android outlook), turning off , turning on focused inbox in owa settings account, , tried using owa couple of days see if there difference. behavior same. is there way "reset" focused inbox account or else otherwise diagnose problem? since can't go clutter, has
