hello. have gmail account use work. have outlook 2010 on desktop, , 365 on laptop. when read messages on phone/web browser/outlook 2010, mark messages read, 365 on laptop not. why 365 not recognizing these messages read? how fix this? thank you hi cg365, there may sync issue between outlook mac client , server. please try following steps: 1. right click inbox in client> click "synchronize now" , right click inbox in client> click "properties"> "empty cache". 2. if client in "conversation view", selected conversations/emails in folder command-a> right click , select "mark unread"> reverse> selected conversations/emails in folder again command-a> right click , select "mark read". 3. change arrange "arrange date". 4. mark messages unread first, mark read. additionally, since outlook 2010 has been out of our

hi, i have old email archived outlook mac 2011 in "on computer" folders.  they organized 2012 archive, 2013 archive, etc...  i apply category on them , export them off of "on computer" folder.  for reason, categories on these folders different ones in exchange server (which can edit).  is there anyway synchronize them?  or way edit ones in "on computer" folder?   it seems can apply categories in "on computer" emails in folder.  i can't apply of categories in exchange server.  this prevents me setting label email , exporting them off of "on computer" folders. any on appreciated! many in advance! george categories "on computer" categories on exchange hi george,   sorry mistake. can edit categories in exchange server. edit categories, you must have 1 exchange account selected. it’s not feasible edit categories in on computer.

hi, have office 2016 (version 15.32) installed on mac (sierra 10.12.4). issue like: support go inbox folder (or other folder) , setting arrange item data received (or other sort criteria), sorts items accordingly, go other folder , came inbox again, default arrange format gets changed again. not restricted inbox, happening folders. and same thing happens reading pane also: when setting reading pane below , go other folder , came again, reading pane goes right side again. in short not able set "arrange by" & "reading pane" default view in outlook. i have office365 account configured. please help. hi aksntg,   please try remove plist files contain “com.microsoft.outlook.plist” in username/library/containers/com.microsoft.outlook/data/library/preferences based on steps in above post see if issue can resolved. about plist files contain “com.microsoft.outlook.plist”, example,

hello all, desperately looking solution - folder: /users/jlg/library/group containers/ubf8t346g9.office/outlook/outlook 15 profiles/main profile/data/message sources, sitting @ 76gb of data.  i have plenty of emails (+/- 4000), considering attachments these messages sitting @ 2,4gb, size of message sources folder seems beyond ridiculous.  what can do? running outlook 15.31 on macbook air [el capitan], through office 365 subscription, connecting our work email through imap exchange account [preference/internet accounts].  hi jordan-l-g, message sources didn’t contain emails , attachments. contains cache , settings in outlook mac app. have larger size size of emails , attachments. said account connecting work email through imap exchange account [preference/internet accounts], let know how exact account configured, via imap or exchange mode? please capture screenshot of detailed account type screenshot

hi there. i have subscription office365 business , use outlook email. i using mac os 10.12.5 up patching latest update (15.35 mac (170610)) - see attached pic 1 - outlook working perfectly. with update, lot of saved messages appear "?" instead of correct characters - see attached pic 2. i've noticed if copy , paste text message full of "?" new email formatted html displays properly. biggest problem cannot send new emails attachments. regardless of size , type. looping error message - see attached pic 3. can still send , receive emails no attachments it's not email account @ fault. restarting doesn't help. have latest version of outlook. problem. it's upgrade outlook. please help!!! hi mark, good hear "?" issue has been fixed.  for attachment issue, have confirmed whether outlook 2016 mac can upgraded? if so, may try crerating new profile outlook 2016 ma
