hi, i created rule in outlook 2016 move copy of message sent 1 email account (account a) to folder of email account (account b - imap based). rule is: apply rule after send message through xxx@**** account (account a) move copy "sent mail" folder (of account b). the rule partially works on outlook 2016 moving sent message folder. however, once moves specified folder, noticed internet headers removed message. believe since removes internet headers, message not able synch through imap , i'm not able see message in folder on other devices. can see on computer sent message from. this rule works fine on outlook 2013. have computer using outlook 2013 same rule. moves imap sent mail folder of account b , synchs across devices account b email configured. think may bug in outlook 2016, or there might other way preserve internet headers when moving/copying message using rules. any assistance appreciated. thanks!

split thread. hi, i see reply on every if not of posts of kind of question. wanted ask how applies situation. i have hotmail account more 10 years. in last couple of years using ms outlook 2010 access mail, if relevant. sending somewhere between 50 , 150 mails per day (except on weekend). of sudden, yesterday started getting notifications mails can't sent , got mail on limit. checked , rechecked:      - no spam sent mail account     - sent 12 mails in last 24 hours before limit yesterday , today (so limit did not change in last 48h) in case, account far new, initial limitations don't apply, nothing eating limitations (all mails sent 1 recipient, don't go near limitation that), of sudden blocked. and no, did not give phone number , don't have need payed account. these 2 solutions anyway did not similar problem mine. know should do? otherwise might go make myself gmal account, if works better me. best regards, jur

hello, i using outlook ios.  i using iphone 7 running on firmware 10.2.  when sign in gmail account on outlook, can access email , whatnot. a few hours later when go check email, outlook tells me have sign in again, , resets signature , everything.  how can fix don't have keep signing in , changing settings every few hours? split thread. i have same problem.  i have latest version of sierra installed 10.12.3 , latest version of office 365 , outlook installed.  outlook becomes unresponsive every 5 minutes.  no beachball unless click on folder or "new email" button twice , beachball come , go 5 - 10 minutes @ time.  very frustrating didn't have problem prior updating sierra 4 weeks ago.  my work around been let beach ball spin , resume work.  our administrator deleted office 365 , reloaded on 2/8 see if fix problem didn't make difference. i took @ sample of outlook process sent.  it appears applescript executing , causing long running operation.   do know applescript may have executing? thanks, -james Office / Outlook / Mac / Office 2016 for Mac

my client has office outlook 2007 installed on laptop running windows 10. upon receipt of email attachment goes calendar. until 7 days ago able open attachment/appointment directly calendar. attachment/appointment .pdf file...i clicked on attachment , splash screen came telling me had have "outlook" installed in order view file. unable open file. has outlook installed acrobat reader xi. tried right clicking on file , received negative results. problem began appearing week. he receives emails job...the supervisor invites him accept appointment or not. accepts appointment unable open appointment/attachment. i recommended download ms office 365 have done, installing on windows box , mac mini. not sure how him @ point. any appreciated. cheers , beers!! bill cloonan Office / Outlook / Windows 10 /

i use outlook 2016 gmail email address, , outlook.com calendar (which means outlook.com email address folders), , until recently, worked fine. however when outlook.com changed exchange activesync, , had re-add outlook.com account outlook, i'm struggling same functionality had before. the calendar works fine, , emails still come through fine. issue new mail alerts, or specific that's little envelope appears when new email arrives in gmail account. the envelope comes expected, when new email arrives, , if click on it, outlook opens up. issue defaults outlook.com email address, not gmail one. despite email arriving in gmail account, outlook.com account wants main 1 new mail alerts (even if it's not outlook.com account). as can imagine extremely frustrating. far i've tried setting gmail account default account, , i've tried adding outlook.com account after gmail one, setting gmail folder default. neither of these hel

hi, yesterday updated whole office 365 mac including outlook. since then, of tasks gone. have cleared filters , tried found make them visible again, not show anymore. any ideas happened , how tasks back? just update  while pulling out hair googled further , found more information 'indexing' - followed info , found system indexing following reboot , has taken few hours! didn't realise happened in background nor affect items used seeing , using usually. my tasks have re-appeared , relieved understatement. hi team i've had queries colleagues: want able send mailmerge more 1 person i.e. , cc field outlook 365.  what need this?  i had search on google , came link use add-in mapilab. mailmerge , cc the second query relating using suitefiles prompt save email client folder when sent - able when mailmerge sent out or need manually drag , drop email client correspondence folder; and if not using suitefiles plugin - there way around this? thank , forward response. bronwen outlook indeed doesn't have native support adding multiple recipients single message mail merge. mailmerge toolkit mapilab used add-in add support this. as mail merge takes place in automated background thread, not aware of additional plugins indeed won't prompted suitefiles (unless plugin works on onitemadd event move doubt). had re-install office 365 outlook 2016 after system failure, , contacts/address book gone.  i had csv file exported contacts, imported it.  it associated 1 of email addresses (address x).  but, when click on address in email receive , add contacts, goes contacts file associated different email address (address y).  address y first 1 added when set outlook, not primary address - address x.  how can outlook add contacts file address x?  i prefer have addresses in 1 place , not have search different contact folders person. hi, reading description of issue, appears default storage folder set refer address y. basically, needs done set address x default. this, recommend steps detailed our microsoft insider in article default address book in outlook 2016 . should need more help, let know.
