hi everyone, my company outlook automatically deletes "sent items" after 120 days way, among other things, control our mail file sizes.  have created rule places copy of sent mail "safe" folder.  mail in user created folder remains 4 years.  works if send office desktop computer.  mail sent via phone or if remotely login through company vpn not moved "safe" folder. my rule follows: apply rule after send message through specified account , on computer move copy safe folder.  i think issue "on computer only" portion of rule.  pick "through specified account" automatically picks "on computer only",  not let me remove check here. do know how can sent mail regardless if remoted in, on phone or on main account in office gets automatically copied specified folder? thanks suggestions? i have open ticket microsoft support on this, looking community input well. we're seeing issues emails getting stuck in outbox hour before send. users impacted have mailboxes hosted on microsoft's servers, nothing on-premise them. all emails impacted appear have attachments, size doesn't seem issue. many of them, total attachment size below 1mb. if give hour or so, outbox clears , emails send. we've been able confirm if same email , attachments sent via web portal, emails send without issue. if delete contents of outbox , recompose/send emails, send fine, other times same issue happens. we've seen issue forwarding emails attachments.  i've been able confirm mail flow working fine while emails stuck in outbox (ie, user still receiving emails , can send emails without attachments no problems).  we've tried new mail profiles , new osts, far issue ends coming back. been tricky isolate due sporadic nature of it. t

hi, i have migrated different e-mail provider office 365. migrated across ok; e-mails imported & display successfully. however, when select option 'show conversations' in outlook 2016, every e-mail migrated exchange server not show subject line (the subject column is there, it's subject line missing). e-mails have been received since started using outlook 2016; ie: e-mails that weren't imported;  do show subject line. if turn off option 'show conversations' of subject lines display correctly every e-mail, imported items. using same option, 'show conversations', on web version of outlook office 365 works without issues; ie: subject line displayed e-mails. does know way make subject line imported e-mails display when using 'show conversations' option in outlook 2016? thanks.  we use outlook 2013, , have shared calendar several of in office use common spot date-related entries require future action.  parties on share have full permission, can make entry, modify something, delete something, etc.  have reminders entries pop-up on computers using shared calendar - reminders pop-up on computer of person initiated item.  there fix such reminders can pop-up on computers? ***post moved moderator appropriate forum category.*** have been , forth guy here @ office trying figure out well.  came semi-solution... made mailing list sort of thing , added mailing list each of reminders in calendar.  pop-ups show on everyone's computer if manually accepts "changed meeting" alert pops in inbox.  annoying have hundreds of reminders show on everyone's computer without having manually accept these meeting changes.  why difficult implement such simple request beyond me.  microsoft please.

i set email account in outlook 2010 using imap settings , can receive mail cannot send any.  in checking error, found should check box says 'log on incoming server before sending mail' can found in outgoing server tab of internet email options.  however, option not there.  i've reinstalled windows on pc , office professional 2010.  is there patch or update give me option? hi, we know more concern, please provide following information: did make changes on computer prior issue? when did issue start? are there error codes/messages preventing performing action? meanwhile, suggest disable third party firewall, antispyware, or antivirus programs on pc , check if same issue persists. let know how goes. i continue encounter issue in messages list shows blank when reading pane set "right".  has happened me on 3 different laptops, , when using outlook mac 2016 v15.28.1 (161117) , outlook mac 2016 v15.29 (161209).  every once in awhile fixes few hours, inevitably acts again week or 2 on end. i'd raised in previous thread erroneously marked 'solved', hoping better traction real solution time. previous thread i found easier fix worked me: in drop-down menu under "by: conversation">select "restore defaults".
