hi, i moving mails 1 folder folder (outlook.com account) , mac outlook crashed. after folder "2016-sent" has disappeared. if open  library/group containers/..../main profile/data/outlook.sqlite  and @ "folders" table, can still see "2016-sent" folder in database. record_recordid 183. if run following query on sqlite file select count(*) mail record_folderid = 183 i 5466 result quite right.  also if go mail table , find mails in folder 183 , check column pathtodatafile, files physically exist. for example - found file:  messages/136/88733dfb-3f5a-4351-aa91-06e2ef7e0eb7.olk15message  this kind of messages have lost , trying find. means messages physically exist on hard-drive link has been removed. the folder 183's parent folder 181 (which have deleted outlook.com account)  and folder 181's parent folder id 1.  if make new "on computer" folder , update parent of folder 183 fol

i have 3 pop3 email addresses , inbox several years of emails.  suddenly see there "no emails" in inbox yet shows 668 unread emails next inbox., check second inbox, same thing. junk inbox empty nothing view.  subfolders have emails in.  i can send emails.  emails in did not arrive after several hours few of test emails did arrive, once leave inbox, disappear.  also calendar blank, contacts. if try find issue error message saying outlook.pst file in use , cannot accessed.  i should close .  when go processes, outlook email running.  i dont know how close .pst file , suspect emails somewhere, perhaps corrupted somehow.  yes server have last couple of weeks of them, fact new emails disappear anyway problem.  im not sure start - i've restarted outlook few times, restarted pc , thinking of doing system restore. or reinstall outlook.  can suggest perhaps has happened here , how restore particularly calendar have no clue doing next week without it

i'm using outlook 2010 linked aol, i'm no longer using exchange based email system.  as such, outlook maintaining folders on pc , synchronizing folders maintained @ aol.  the synchronize process shows no problems;, , emails sent native aol or (android) phone show in aol's sent file, and, curiously, in outlook sent folder!  so problem outlook.  i have cleaned out folder bit thought might over-full (the problem started recently) didn't fix issue.  suggestions welcome. john i'd surprised if outlook's message says "send folder unavailable". did misspell something? you can adjust outlook 2010 looks sent items folder. click file>account settings>account settings. select imap account , click change, more settings. select sent items tab , make sure it's pointing correct imap server folder.
