split thread. i've been running office 2011 no problems speak of years - got 365 home subscription , it's unbelievable how big app sizes now. 48.6mb 2011 vs 1.61 gb 2016?  i read on forums ms encapsulated office apps not dependent on mac os shared services - more 'self enclosed' , that's reason huge size increase, expect run faster not slower. problems i'm having ms mac office 2016 can't keep typing , shows color wheel. after pressing "send" email takes 5-7 seconds program clear it. i've read when ms office sync's imap server many people saying color wheel pops until it's done syncing. 2011 didn't that. office 2016 seems load memory after many emails opened , shut without reducing size in memory according activity monitor.  ms suggests  to run both 2011 , 2016 in parallel after install (while transfer on 2016) , that's i've been doing, seems silly after while since performance worse. (?)

i having issues outlook 2016 crashing (10-20 times per day). outlook crash , restart automatically (most when running in background , when working in outlook). from looking @ task manager  outlook consuming 40-50% of cpu capacity , 100-200mb of memory memory increases 1500+mb before crashes. i have tried creating new .pst file, disabling hardware graphics acceleration , disabling add-ins (except google apps sync) the addin running google apps sync (now g suite sync). any appreciated! i checked refresh time set @ 30 mins , google sync driving refresh in outlook anyway. after looking @ logs google sync - possible pst file corrupted deleted my pst file, , reinstalled 64 bit version of outlook (previous 32 bit). additionally, reinstalled google sync. so far appears have resolved issue. thanks help! i have 3 accounts (o365, hotmail, exchange2010 on prem) displayed in same outlook ost file. on exchange account, have issues reading pane briefly displays content , screen goes blank (white). opening message shows full content, not in reading pane. this happens exchange account not hotmail or 0365.  it doesn't happen 100% of time - happens plain-text , html messages, or doesn't happen. sometimes happens part of message i've tried outlook.exe /safe , outlook.exe /cleanviews both no success. the problem started around same time i  installed yammer desktop alert app, uninstalled applet sa, there newer version of fork on getting deployed.  be 16.0.8067.2115.  try forcing upgrade clicking file, office account, update options, update now.  if still see issue build might need open new bug.  builds throttled might not right away worth checking.   Office

the format task panes in powerpoint painful , tedious use because can't navigate through them keyboard commands.  you have use mouse.  using mouse slower , tedious use.  excessive use of mouse causes tendinitis in elbows. how can rid of format task panes in powerpoint , go using original format task dialog boxes? thanks if hold down alt key, you'll see keyboard shortcuts available , drilling down, can of same formatting features appear in formatting pane.  getting more 1 formatting feature total pain way, near helpful navigating through standard dialog box. but that's alternative, short of switching earlier version of powerpoint, 1 that's pain- , pane-free. i moved verizon.net outlook.com.  i receiving emails 2 separate verizon.net emails 1 consolidated inbox on outlook in office365 on mac desktop.  when created new outlook accounts created sub inbox each email address, identified user name. no problem, can still 1 consolidated view on inbox.  however, email addressed 1 email address delivered both account name sub inboxes.  thus have duplicate email addresses.  the problem if delete one, both disappear.  i have checked accounts, identified. can think each account has both email addresses associated, dont know go check this. or perhaps else.  help anyone?  hi danb17, better you, i’d confirm following information @ first: 1. how many accounts did set in outlook 2016 mac client currently? type of accounts they? there connections between them? 2. ‘receive emails 2 separate verizon.net emails 1 consolidated inbox on outlook’, how did set achieve this? via setting forwar

hi everyone, i'm using outlook 2016 , company uses kerio our business email third party provider. have option of integration whatever os you're using (whether on mobile, tablet or computer) provides mapi exchange server system.  on windows systems uses add-in called kerio outlook connector (offline edition). download program through integration menu in webmail page , configure profile clicking on link in same page, asking log in , opens command prompt , prepares email settings outlook (port, domain, user details etc) automatically , launches outlook , synchronises inbox accordingly.  i've installed on desktop running windows 8.1, laptop running windows 10 home , had no issues there. did have problems installing on windows 7 pro though , abandoned hope there.  i've been trying install on new work laptop windows 10 pro , every time do, program downloads okay when configure either auto profile (as described above) stops responding

hi,  i admin in 200-user firm. due business model purchase office h&b licences , tie these ms live accounts, email address being *** email address removed privacy *** . have stopped receiving mail validation emails. new account register, cannot verify. have checked gateway, nothing hitting us, smtp logs showing absolutely nothing.  the emails coming *** email address removed privacy *** to add, have several other domains configured same way, , after doing tests on these domains - emails coming through fine. looks if there kind of block on microsoft side; perhaps if sampledomain.co.uk detected - dont send email. @ possible ? if yes, how can unblocked ?  i have raised ticket support, these guys trying me verified different way, while problem cannot 200 accounts...  please help, response welcome ! kind regards,  luke Office / Unknown/other /

i have added form fields search option using '+more' drop down list cannot remove these 'x' @ end of these fields greyed out. see below screenshot. click crosses @ end of these fields nothing happens. the fact inactive indicates either trying query mailbox store isn't being indexed or have general indexing issue. does work when try search within own mailbox? in case, should remove fields then. you can reset custom search forms starting outlook /resetsearchcriteria folder; start-> type; outlook.exe /resetsearchcriteria (note space in command above) to fix instant search see; fixing instant search also note instant search won't work in outlook safe mode or when have started outlook elevated permissions (as administrator).
