hello all. i have windows 10 laptop pc. used had office 2013 installed, after organization purchased office 365 pro plus 2016 installed , uninstalled office 2013. that's when problems started; ones found: 1) thumbnails files created using word, excel, powerpoint etc have different type. have @ screenshot 1. word documents seem match icon of new word, excel documents have older icon, , powerpoint documents show actual first slice. supposed like? if no, how fix it? works anyway, annoying eye... 2) mouse right click > new word/excel documents missing. see 2nd screenshot. i've tried few suggestions found. nothing works. the exact same problem happened 2 different laptop pc's windows 10, of different brand , a  4 year age difference , $1500 price difference... updated. on old laptop, tried uninstalling every office version , installing 365 again. didn't fix it. it's either windows 10 or office 365. thanks in advance. x

dear all, the issue want report occurs in outlook office proplus 2013 (32-bit) in windows 7 64 bits. haven't tried in office standard yet. explain how reproduce it: 1. create new meeting  2. click on sheduling assistant 3. in field belongs room finder called "show room list", select list 4. in scheduling assistant mark 1 or more rooms meeting befored selected list 5. select new list , rooms selected last selected list disappear. the workaround issue note every room outside outlook , add them manually meeting. this behaviour shouldn't normal. imagine need set meeting in different locations around world , people attend meeting remotely location. in case, should able select several rooms every location attend meeting. i think issue quite easy reproduce, don't find relevant put screenshots. nevertheless, if need more info issue, please let me know. in advance. regards hi carl

i have new gmail account default email account, old pop3 *.pst data file default data file. can't change default data file new gmail *.ost, error message "the selected outlook data file (.pst) must same format offline outlook data files (.ost). select matching outlook data file or turn off cache mode in account settings. i have turned off cache settings, same problem exists. turned cache settings on, same result. when outlook loads old data loads default, not new inbox/folders etc. hi chris,   it’s not feasible set imap mail folders default data file. can make google mail account default account (file > account settings.   select account , click set default). can't make google mail folders default data file if accessing google mail mailbox imap account. imap folders can never default folders because imap allows mail folders , outlook needs non-mail folders in default folder set well.

i'm working colleague unable delete items office 365 email via web app (no client software) .  this occurring on different machines in different browsers.  it first appeared when conducted search keyword of regular emails got.  she make selection of emails wanted delete search , clicked delete, no pop-up appears (as in other accounts).   we tried delete emails (no search) directly inbox.  they moved deleted items folder.  we emptied deleted items.  seconds later, still in inbox stream. we tried moving items deleted items folder (move instead of using delete command).  we tried dragging items deleted items folder. keep getting same result: either don't prompt verify want delete or after emptying deleted items, emails reappear. that sounds bug on server itself. in case, i’m not sure anyone here here since outlook not involved @ all… have considered deleting same item through email client?   coren

i have user logs in office 365 , goes mail. when tries attach email says following files couldn't attached: filename. please try again later. looked , said mailbox sending limit issue. not have limit , file trying attach 25kb big. drag , drop email works fine when tries click attach button , go computer , select file fails. has tried multiple browsers , different computer systems , same issue happens. weird thing when went troubleshoot issue. log in account , can attach file fine. log out , log account , attachment works. once browser has been closed , reopened issue reappears again. tired chrome, firefox , ie , same thing.  it has been working fine in till last week. nothing has been changed account side , no other people having issues.  hi brandon, reporting issue , letting know troubleshooting steps you’ve tried. move forward case, i’d further check these details: 1. based on experience, suggest clear

this recurring problem we've had on of our computers running powerpoint 2016.  when file downloaded computer other 1 created on, cloud storage (onedrive, google drive, campus lms etc.) titles on slides disappear.  the font used in presentation on computers we're trying open files on.  we've tried highlighting titles change font, aren't able highlight anything.  it isn't 1 presentation we're seeing issue with, it's powerpoint files. the interesting thing if @ files thumbnail in finder, titles appear there (see screenshot). hi leslie,   i can confirm issue fixed in version 15.32. suggest either wait update global release or join office insider program , download version office insider fast channel .   thanks, ran Office / PowerPoint / Mac /

i trying add circle powerpoint slide change colour each click. there 6 circles in total need change independently 1 another. have set fill colour animation, triggered individual clicks on each circle. cycle goes red yellow green. part works fine. problem once cycle completed first time (red yellow green) circle stays on green until esc slide. i need cycle repeat indefinitely. want able press button (colour changing circle) indefinitely while presenting. can help?? have @ , see if mean. if can work out how animation works demo Office / PowerPoint / Windows 10 / Office 365 for business
