hi   i had office 2007 on windows 8.1 laptop , laptop failed boot. laptop shut down normal on previous occasion using it.   i removed hard drive , connected externally laptop , windows directory removed entire outlook folder includes 1 .ost file , 4 .pst files.   i refitted hard drive in laptop , reinstalled windows instead of reinstalling office 2007, installed office 365 instead.   in outlook 2016, imported 4 .pst files there email folders missing there in outlook 2007.   there emails missing in folders. example, in 2 folders there emails there until 2016 no emails rest of 2016 , none 2017. these emails there in outlook 2007.   when importing there 3 different options duplicates, tried importing each .pst file 3 times using 3 different options.   i removed .ost file outlook 2016 created in windows directory , replaced the.ost file outlook 2007 outlook 2016 recreates new .ost file.   when imported first .pst file noticed file siz

i have windows 7 home premium, service pack 1,   office 2007. i have email thru comcast, have 1st account in outlook pop3, incoming mail server (mail.comcast.net) outgoing mail server (smtp.comcast.net).   incoming server (pop3) 995, check encrypted connection (ssl), outgoing server (smtp) 465, , "ssl". this account   works fine when doing "test account settings" test , sending , receiving email. the second account set same ( different email , password ) when doing "test account settings" test   it thru , receive ms outlook test message in inbox of outlook. this 2nd account not receive , email anywhere, not 1st account in outlook nor outside email account. when set 2nd account auto configure wants make (imap) account. i want pop3 only. thanks (removed forum moderator) **post edited moderator remove pii (personal identifiable information).** are using 2 sets of persona

every time open outlook 365 shuts down after minute or , restarts , lose email composing. i using windows 10 pro hi, to address query, suggest try opening outlook in office safe mode. can allow safely use when has encountered problems. here's how: method 1 : find shortcut icon office application. press , hold ctrl key , double-click application shortcut. click yes when window appears asking if want start application in safe mode. method 2 : right-click start button (lower-left corner) in windows, , click run . alternatively, can press windows logo key , r key on keyboard. in run box, type command: type outlook /safe , , click ok . if issue still persists, suggest follow steps on how repair office application (outlook) provided on link: repair office application. update on result. regards.
