beyond cannot find google search issue. my outlook (out of office) keeps auto-discovering office 365 exchange server. haven't been on office 365 since december 2016. setup local exchange server , working fine until our name server crashed. since keeps trying log office 365.  our dns points correctly our on premise install, , auto discover link works fine. know might in local network, android phone works on local network. exchange connectivity tester sees on premise server, use our own dns servers @ location, have flushed dns , dns cache of local dns servers. name servers have gone on multiple times. why keep trying connect office 365. outlook part of office 2016 pro plus copy not office 365 copy. i got updated 2017 outlook.  when i'm replying people lists of edits work, write next edit "fixed", bold , make red it's more visible. in 2010 version of outlook, able copy/paste red/bold "fixed" next each line made corrections...the red , bold stayed no matter how many times copy/pasted. in 2017 version, auto formats "fixed" whatever font/color/style on line i'm pasting to. paste, there's box drop down next it...click on , has options of keep source formatting, match destination formatting (this checked), or keep text only. if change keep source formatting, goes red , bold. never happened 2010 version. i'm trying figure out if there's way have keep source formatting default. i've googled bunch , there options out there of go, it's 2010 , older...and 2017 version doesn't have options mentioned set default. any suggestions/help appreciated! hi m

the preview pane mailbox stops working intermittently, remaining blank @ times when select message preview inbox. i have been settings try re-set this, without success far & i'm having open each email double-clicking open in new window. hope can me solve this, please! hi timothy,   we don’t know whether using outlook web app or outlook desktop. temporarily assume using outlook desktop. since outlook client shows blank when selecting message preview, try resetting navigation pane , check if helps: 1. close outlook client. 2. hold down windows key + r. 3. copy , paste, or type following command in open box, , press enter: outlook.exe /resetnavpane note: there space between outlook.exe , /resetnavpane.   in addition, try changing network environment in case problem related network. also, can try using quick repair repair outlook client.   if problem persists, please provide following

i have changed names of employees use our business icloud accounts. clyde once used email ending in "@icloud.com" email address used donnie. i have checked contacts , contacts have been changed list donnie's name *** email address removed privacy *** email address. when click on name (listed clyde in box) , open contact contact shows donnie. how correct show donnie in correct instead of clyde (which shows incorrectly unless right click , "open outlook contact...)? hi dean, when typing email address in "to" input box , when auto complete records show up, click "x" next address delete cache. after that, restart outlook, type right email address in "to" input box , send email address. contact show right name? if not, delete contact , create new 1 correct name , email address see if works. best regard, alison Office

the client i'm working has disabled eas, imap, pop3, , universal outlook in order support mfa , newer rest protocol android , ios devices using outlook mobile , can authenticate via mfa  using mobile authenticator. this works, , gets them connect via o365 , client type comes rest windows phones (os 10.2) don't seem have same option, appears doesnt support adal/mfa @ time , falls using eas. i'm guessing because adal didnt work it's trying eas of course won't work since it's disabled. all in outlook mobile win 10 support mfa @ there way make work? have tried enabling universal outlook makes no difference. even alternative, owa mobile devices appears removed windows store. hi shayne_80, thank posting question here. windows mobile apps not included in apps support mfa. found 1 article reference: plan multi-factor authentication office 365 deployments https://support.office.

have gantt chart no predecessors - tasks , dates manually scheduled.  i changed manually every bar match specific overall going differentiate between tasks , doing.  changed bar color , changed pattern on of bars, , text- print , print it.   when @ gantt chart view, great.  when go print, (only some, not all) of bars not retaining formatting.  cannot find differences in tasks 1 working , 1 not.  the ones not working default default.  i keep going in , changing, not taking.   please help!!   jan 0817, first of all, version of project 2010 updated. should @ version 14.0.7176.5000 latest update (november 2016). if not, run windows update. just how many separate custom formats applied gantt bars? believe there limit , may have reached although expect limitation show in gantt chart view print preview. if tasks correctly show formatting first formatted , not retain formatting among last, have reached limit. w
