my company runs 2016 exchange server.  i connect both via owa , outlook (mac 2016 version).  i customized categories in outlook.  i've found twice after outlook updated loose categories, quite frustrating.  on top of that, customized colors disappear on calendar entries , seem revert no color @ all.  here's confusing part: if log account via owa, see custom categories , calendar entries show categories , color assigned to.   therefore, seems outlook not somehow syncing data should stored in exchange.  what can rectify this? hi rj_yvr, may know outlook 2016 mac version using? latest update? please provide detailed information this. issue happen every categorize calendar event or specific categorize calendar event? may try troubleshoot issue via creating new outlook 2016 mac profile see whether problem still occurs. reference: manage profiles in outlook 2016 mac best regards, shyamal

i've been digging on internet trying find fix problem no avail. we have many 2012 rds servers running office 2010. our outlook version 14.0.7177.5000 multiple users across multiple servers have reported same problem, when opening outlook, various favourites have disappeared. i tried basics of recreating favourites, giving them new outlook profile , wiping local roaming profile server , creating new. tried /resetnavpane switch same problem happens every time. during testing decided log onto server myself account (i work local pc, not rds, new account server) , found replicate same problem. i found problem seems affect shared mailboxes added favourites folder though. i recreated favourites , used mfcmapi open profile , viewed 'common views (hidden contents)' table , can see favourites listed. whilst watching common views table, opened , closed outlook 5 or 6 times. favourite doesn't shift common views (hidden contents) table, in

hello team, got issue today, wherein getting error in outlook 2016 mac(15.33). whenever launch outlook takes 4-5mins launch , getting error message on screen "an unknown error has occurred in outlook". troubleshooting performed: created new outlook profile, , launch out delay. stucks sync pending folders , when tried send emails gets a new error "unexpected data encountered" able receive emails. not sure, why happening? have few questions 1) since when started happening? 2) have tried reverting previous version? 3) type of account it? exchange, o365 or imap/pop account? 4) if configure new profile , configure test account in new profile exhibit same error message? account might having corruption in inbox causing issue. may there lot of folders might cause of folders not getting synchronize here. please share above detail can troubleshoot issue accordingly.

hi all, i running outlook mac 2016 v15.33 (170409), , today out of sudden lost imap subfolders. i left default ones inbox, sent etc, , emails in folders. logged webmail of mail server , folders there. there no updates of mail server of kind in time when happened. i restarted outlook/mac , checked disk permissions. nothing helped.  there similar question here unanswered: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_outlook-mso_mac/imap-folders-in-outlook-2016-keep-disappearing/50ac2380-14dd-4d80-982d-5a8d6cf4f4d9 i can see imap folders under "tools / imap folders", cannot unsubscribe / subscribe them. at end created new profile via outlook profile manager , created new account, rules, signatures etc. why , how happened beyond me, not again time since inbox > 10 gb (i have headers of emails except inbox alas). can provide more debugging info if needed. best neven

under windows 10, regularly popup: "either there no default mail client or current mail client cannot fulfill messaging request". happen use outlook  express (yep! runasxp.com ) , assume doesn't support required messaging request. i'm fine that. all solutions i've found deal outlook users repairing outlook install outlook work correctly.what want disable popup entirely. how can that? thanks help. you using program/solution isn't supported, , such have no control on error msgs or popups i have ask why use program, if win10 mail not suit there other free mail programs supported e.g http://www.emclient.com/ Office / Outlook / Windows 10 / Unknown/other

hello.  yesterday created new group , worked fine.  today, tried add members can't find group anywhere.  however, when type in name of group in new email, shows it's got somewhere!  how can edit list?? fyi... running outlook 2016 on windows 8 yahoo imap account. try one: c lose outook, click on start, type mail (or go control panel , mail), select mail profile, click show profiles, remove profile , click ok. restart outlook , groups section should there. hope helps.. this unsync , resync account.. i'm using outlook 2013 on windows 7 professional desktop pc. when opened outlook today, no emails received. after couple of hours, realized had never received 1 particular email expecting. that's when realized no emails had been received day, though have outlook set automatically send , receive emails every few minutes. called isp, told me outlook not reaching server. i've checked set ups, , nothing has been changed. checked sure 'working offline' not toggled on. have several different domains emails, each different host, don't think problem of hosts' servers. else can check? help! cyndi hi cyndi, the issue may occur several different reasons, such misconfigured settings, interaction third-party software, , limitations of outlook. to resolve concern, kindly follow these steps: follow steps on repair office application . update outlook 2013 latest version. may refer link .

split thread. i work tejas , experiencing problem. 1 of difficulties in diagnosing problem it's intermittent. of time searching works perfectly, claims "no matches found" though know that's untrue , emails exist. on occasions emails appear if delete last character search , press return key. in answer questions; 1. account office 365 account 2. via "microsoft exchange" 3. online (fyi problem happening outlook client installed on pc) 4. product information states "subscription product - microsoft office 365 proplus" , version 1609 (build 7369.2130) 5.below screenshots showing occasion when problem occurred.  a. searched sent items emails to:joan , know lots exist, outlook states "no matches found"  b. delete last character (i.e. change search to:joa , press enter key make outlook search again, , find emails i've sent joan. hi t_w_89,  

it used possible check box "keep design of original slides" when inserting slides different presentation existing 1 (office 2011 mac).    this option no longer available in office 365 version.   there way inside of ppt in latest version (currently running 15.24)? the workaround open 2011 version of ppt , insert slides using that, clunky , keep hoping they'll bring feature in latest version. -- d. just happened notice: 15.24 no means "latest version"... in fact, 9 months behind. the current version should @ least 15.31 15.32 published. fwiw, in installation of 15.31, when using insert> slides from> other presentation inserted slides retain formatting default. hi, i have vb.net 2010 addins application ms project 2010. the objective of addins connect sap pm sap.net connector 3.0 bring work orders (and operations) , paste ms project task table. development machine: - windows 7 pro, spanish language, 64 bits - vs.net 2010 pro, english language - ms project 2010, english language, 64 bits target machine: - windows 7 pro, spanish language, 64 bits - ms project 2010, spanish language, 32 bits i generate 2 installer: 1 64 bits, , other 32 bits. both version have same lines of code. running  addins in 64 bits version of ms project 2010 works fine, in 32 bits version, corrupt data when paste large values number custom fields (ex.: 94137750 corrupted 94137752, 94048923 corrupted 94048920, etc.). failure doesn't occurs when paste small values "10" or "44502". the steps put records clipboard , paste values ms project task table following: - step 1: add records
