hello, i in need of direction how solve issue have. trying disable single connected service office 2013 , office 2016 applications, sites one. problem is, cannot find way through office itself. use sharepoint online, , know account added it, not wish have on desktop application. i tried using administrative templates shut off individual service, there no such group policy object allows specific 1 disabled. use sharepoint, don't want our desktop applications have connected. is there way disable sites connected service without disabling other connected services? there trick need in exchange control panel, or handled elsewhere? in honesty, if there no policy enforcing services; end users should have full control on connected services reside on applications. seems frustrating when moves made further impede end-user control of applications. hello, can provide input? thanks. hi all outlook won't start/open. click on app button (windows10) swirl appears second , nothing. other office programs open fine (office 2013). can't open mail in control panel either. my pst , ost files should be. it fine morning had problems malwarebytes premium update. cut long story short did system restore. still had problems malwarebytes uninstalled , ran mbam removal exe file. and after rebooting couldn't open outlook. don't know whether mbam removal or system restore that's caused problem didn't try open before.   or @ 1 point in that, machine restarting got stuck had force shut. not having day! i reinstalled office still nothing.  so heck do before things worse? do restore? or should undo restore?  should uninstall office , reinstall it? other posts right-click , start in safe mode don't option i tried typing in outlook.exe /safe in cmd nothing happened. please help!!

i attempting add calendar directory in o365. when search calendar in directory, not there. every other contact there, 1 not show up. can see contact in people email address.  is there reason why won't show up? there permissions owner of calendar needs provide me? gave me permission level reviewer, made no change. our enterprise not allow calendar sharing not option. hi kellen, default, (i mean 2 newly created users in office 365 example) each of 2 users can view other user’s calendar in office 365. because each user’s calendar set “users in organization can view free/busy information”. in other words, each user can open/add other user’s calendar via “add calendar”> “from directory”. situation, please make sure whether can add user’s calendar via typing user’s address directly not looking user in directory. way, information mentioned above applies outlook web app (owa) . may add/open user’s cale

i work @ small company wear hat of "it" time time.  we have 2 people search emails lot , have found new emails not being indexed...  i re-built both of them , can find emails , including when did that, if received morning, it's not in search results.  i can't keep rebuilding these indexes every day... , have turned on indexing same on computer.  one person on windows 10 , other windows 7.  outlook 2010. any ideas?  i've been in , looked indexing panel in control panel , both list location... i think ought search in, , post in if necessary, outlook 2010 section of forum in case cause of problem outlook rather windows 10 indexing. i have had quick , there several search-related questions there.  of them relate problems after recent windows updates in case might kept hanging on office update restores full functionality / compatibility recent windows updates. denis

recently in outlook 2016, when search across mailboxes, results see error: "something went wrong , search couldn't completed." the timing of seemed happen shortly after windows update performed.  in several years i've never seen error happened.  initially, couldn't search results @ all.  so followed steps clear , rebuild outlook search index found instructions online.  so started getting results again, still messages appears twice @ top above results. so had several archive folders open, closed them all. i went , clicked on each of 4 email accounts have (top level of folder hierarchy) , did search, none of generate error message.  it comes when select "all mailboxes" when search. 3 of accounts imap, 1 exchange (outlook.com) account.  i deleted outlook.com account, removed .ost files , re-added account.  that made no difference. any ideas how rid of error - unfortunately doesn't same account/folder gen
