Outlook 2016 for MAC doesn't retain settings? - Microsoft Community


when open outlook asks me import data attempt, told need open outlook new profile did. closing , reopening after import, i'm prompted go through process again.

sort order setting isn't retained when moving inbox folder , inbox. clicking make default doesn't work.

can't hide on computer folders in preferences (box won't stay checked).
shared mailbox isn't available after restart. again settings not retained.

do have change permissions on command line settings retained? not should have to, if have can/will.

is going addressed soon?

i have deleted , readded outlook again. ok.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
