Sending Email using Outlook 2016 and running Windows 10 - Microsoft Community


two issues:

1)  not able send email microsoft apps (word, excel, etc.) or webpages able in earlier versions on outlook , windows.

2) every time try exit outlook indicates have messages in outbox waiting sent.  but, outbox empty.  these messages stuck in limbo somewhere , not able access them delete them.

based on description provided, need determine cause of issue. having said that, know more concern. kindly answer following:

  • did make changes on computer prior problem?
  • what troubleshooting steps have tried far?
  • are getting error messages when sending email? if so, can send screenshot? note: please not include personal information.

know if there way insert attachment (e.g., document) within meeting invite not own. example, vp creates meeting invite managers quick touch base.  the managers attach document invitees may view 'summary' while being discussed).  is possible invitee include attachment? hello janice, you can send attachment meetings got invited in outlook 2016. can insert attachment going event go insert tab select attach file . click send update send meeting updates, including attachment. let know if need further assistance.
