interop dll - Microsoft Community


hi all,

i using interop office dlls convert word file pdf (wdexportformat interop dll). able achieve desirable result. when pushing same in iis environment, smes start saying interop not meant enterprise solution , solution needs ms office installed in each app server ( iis windows 2008 r2) make interop functional. microsoft not recommend use interop office dlls in enterprise application. interop give memory issue if subjected different file types ( macros enables spreadsheet etc)

does mircosoft provides platform use interop services in iis, without installing full office product , , claims remain stable?
